It features over 600 color images of Tiffany's portable lamps and lighting fixtures, presented as a historical progression that gives the reader a good idea of how the Studios' craftsmanship and artistry evolved over the 30 years they were in business. This history is augmented by over 400 b&w images that help to explain why they did things the way they did when they did them.
Without a doubt, this volume is the most comprehensive reference work of Tiffany's lamps ever to be published. As such, it is an important addition to the library of any person with an abiding interest in Tiffany's work.
